BlackSatino was the perfect solution for this semi-government organisation that employs 1200 people, says Koen Franken, contract manager in the facility management department at TenneT.
Quality and sustainability were important criteria for us, in combination with price, of course. The quality and sustainability of this particular bid compensated a slightly higher cost level in relative terms.
The choice in favour of BlackSatino is closely linked to our relocation to a new building. After all, a transition like this is an ideal opportunity for drawing up new requirements in terms of sustainable business practices. And that is clearly visible in the building; for example, we operate a thermal energy storage system and many sustainable materials have been used. That we have extended this strategy into the toilet area with Satino Stainless Steel dispensers and the Cradle to Cradle products in the BlackSatino range is no more than logical.
Implementation went perfectly as well. There will be more communication opportunities in the future, which we will use to tell our customers about the degree of sustainability that we have now achieved. This will help our customers to better understand the degree of sustainability offered by BlackSatino.”
The bid submitted by wholesaler Ological based on BlackSatino was the winning proposition in a tender procedure where the results in terms of sustainability were leading.
