Circular cooperation

The Earth’s resources are becoming exhausted. With our closed loop concepts, which are based on local, safe and responsible materials, we believe we can make a difference.

We employ paper waste streams to make new, sustainable products from it. And we consider our factory as a roundabout for raw materials in this perspective.

Transition to a circular economy

At present, we as a society extract more raw materials from the earth than the earth is able to replenish. Ultimately, our resources are running out – and to further contribute to the issue, we’re producing waste at an unmanageable rate.

The solution lies in thinking, designing and working in cycles, transitioning into a circular economy.

At WEPA, we are ready for this transition. In our line of work, the opportunities lie in alternative
solutions and locally-sourced raw materials.

With that purpose we have been prioritising circular solutions and closed cycle production for some time now,. Thanks to an innovative production process we are able to employ paper waste streams safely, and in varying compositions, as a raw material for the production of hygiene paper.

Locally sourced raw materials

Besides recovered waste paper, we are able to reuse paper cups, beverage cartons, bottle labels and even paper hand towels as sources of reuseable material.

“By enganging in this collaboration, we are making circular steps and closing the loop!”

A closed loop cooperation in practice

WEPA Professional offers organisations the opportunity to participate in the circular economy.

By partnering with us and allowing us to harness your paper waste streams, WEPA can produce BlackSatino hygienic paper which you can subsequently buy back via partners for use in your company’s facilities.

Within one cycle, the paper waste streams are safely transported to our factory to be turned into BlackSatino hygiene paper.

The hygiene paper that we make from these paper streams can be supplied again to the companies who provided the waste stream.

Like this, together with our partners, we close the cycle, help the environment, and act responsibly in line with the worldwide waste and raw materials problem.
